Google Docs allows you to access your documents from any computer. It also let's you choose who sees what work you have done. It eliminates all the e-mail sending between people. All you have to do is allow others to see your work, & they can edit & save any changes that they have made. It makes it easier & less confusing because you are only dealing with one copy of your document. You also get rid all the e-mail attachments. It saves you a lot time & trouble.

I used google docs in my high school, and it did all this and more for me. It's such a time saver!! I wish I could use it for all my group projects!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a big confusing at first too (maybe more confusing than wiki's, for example), but not too hard to catch on to. And once you do, you're addicted!

ReplyDeleteI agree that Google Docs is kinda cool! It seems to be a really useful tool and is relatively easy to work with. I had never used Google Docs before the assignment but wish I had known about it before. It makes it so easy to work with a group without overwhelming everyone with multiple drafts and papers. It's also environmentally friendly as it reduces paper usage. I agree that it's a secure way to have your work on the internet because it's password protected and only someone connected with the work can access it. I also think it is a wonderful to encourage peer review and collaboration.
